The degradation process includes the de-bonding of the elements into microscopic inert molecules. Breaks down by bacterial action and ultraviolet radiation, moisture, abrasion and disintegrates when buried. Complete degradation will occur outdoors in 6-24 months dependant upon the environment and climatic conditions.
